What has happened to the last 2 weeks?! We've returned from tour, for one! We played a few more shows in Calgary after our Pilates escapade in Edmonton. Also, Jesse joined up with us for the last 5 days of the tour, which was awesome. I'm not sure who was more excited to see him - me or Trevor! (Riding in a confined space for weeks on end with only girls can get to be a little much - or so Trevor says... :)). Still, I think it was me.

We also played shows in Medicine Hat and Lethbridge. For me, being in Lethbridge was wonderful. I have loads of family from there; in fact, my grandma came to a show, and in true form she arrived 30 minutes early to make sure she didn't miss it. She's one feisty lady - I love her!

The ride home was an adventure in and of itself! Harvey the RV was misbehaving a bit. He was being a bit temperamental and would refuse some hills. That hindered travels a little bit - but it did not hinder our devotion and dedication to watching as many "Office" episodes as we could fit into an evening! If one thing was a success, it was that!

Also, for any dog lovers out there - we rescued a dog on the side of the road! We welcomed him into the RV (well, to be honest, I'm a little afraid of excited dogs so I wouldn't describe my interactions with him as "welcoming" necessarily - but the other 4 did a great job at making sure that dog felt right at home!) and we fed him Cheerios and water. The objective was to help him find his home back. But alas, it was too difficult. So we bought him dog food and gave him over to two lovely old ladies who volunteered at a dog shelter. 

Being home, I miss playing shows every night, but I am excited to be back to writing and scheming about a future recording project!
